Who we are

Rhea crew, trading as Rhea Crew, is an international choreography and creative movement studio operating from Berlin, Germany and the United Kingdom. Rhea crew is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can reach us at hello@rheacrew.dev.

What we collect and why

• Identity and contact details such as your name, email address, phone number and social handle, used to answer your enquiry and deliver the services you commission. Legal basis, performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
• Project information such as brief, dates, locations, budget range and creative references, used to quote and plan the work. Legal basis, performance of a contract.
• Support and correspondence, including messages you send by email, WhatsApp or Instagram, used to provide customer support. Legal basis, legitimate interests.
• Technical and usage data such as device type, browser, IP address and pages viewed, used to keep the site secure and to improve it. Legal basis, legitimate interests.
• Marketing data, only where you have asked to hear from us. Legal basis, consent, which you may withdraw at any time.

Who we share data with

• Service providers who host this site, host our email and help us support clients, acting on our instructions.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of our services, subscription management, payments, invoicing and tax compliance.
• Professional advisers such as legal and accounting specialists, where necessary.
• Public authorities, where we are required to disclose data by law.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the United Kingdom and the European Economic Area. Where that happens we rely on adequacy decisions or on Standard Contractual Clauses, together with appropriate technical safeguards.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to twenty four months, and project and accounting records for as long as required by law, normally six to ten years. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Subject to local law you may request access to your data, ask us to correct or erase it, ask us to restrict or stop certain processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, ask for a portable copy, and withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@rheacrew.dev and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the United Kingdom or your state data protection authority in Germany.

Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and least privilege, to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Cookies

We use only cookies and local storage that are essential to run this site, for example remembering your sound preference and keeping the session secure. We do not run advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to manage your preferences in your browser at any time.
